Aubrey Lilliana is a Philadelphia native who always knew she longed for a life on stage. As a little Black trans girl, Aubrey saw The Wiz and was inspired by the beautiful Black performers she saw which sparked her interest in pursuing a life in the performing arts. By the time she was in the fifth grade, she was in her school's production of Aladdin Jr as Iago, and after making the audience laugh with her upbeat personality she has practically lived on stage. Her performance endeavors lie beyond just the theater as she has played the violin since the fifth grade, and began composing music in high school. Aubrey wants to show that trans individuals on stage not only should be commonplace but is also a must. She strives to be an example for young trans women of color who are interested in performing because she believes that every voice should be heard and every face should be seen in the theater.
